Applications for temple for acetate optical frames

Blank cut to size

Blank milling

Shearing, milling or laser cut of the temple  with the desired shape

Pre-tumbling

Machine designed for the mechanical removal of substrate residues, in particular burrs, due to processing such as molding, casting, etc. Particularly suitable to give a summary finish to a high number of small pieces. It happens for rolling and impact of the pieces in a barrel (tumbling) and possibly of the shaped abrasive material for the purpose, which speeds up the operation. The rotation speed of the tumbling influences the speed of processing. This processing causes generalized dimensional changes on the surfaces of the piece between 2 and 20 cm.

Cutting of acetate temples, blanks and inlay

CNC 3 interpolated axes with numerical control for the manufacture of temples, blanks and inlay from acetate sheet.
It allows the processing of both large and small series due to its simplicity and fine tuning.

Milling temple with the desired profile

Machines that target the control of the rod thickness and the height definition between the machined surface and the hinge.

Perform therefore a flattening or shaping, using a cutter to reach the required quota.

Alaska

01 alaska

Automatic machine to mill temples with core, even with core with hinge. The machine allows the milling both inside and outside the temple. The setting is made especially easy with the intuitive interface via control panel with LCD screen.

It is possible to load the temples on the dual charger even when the machine is working.

Florida

02 florida

Semiautomatic machine for the milling of optical frames temples  in plastic material.

The machine allows the milling both inside and outside the temple; It is equipped with two work areas, both served by the same cutter which can operate alternately on the two areas; in this way it is possible to charge the loader of a zone while a workpiece is being machined on the second

The setting is made especially easy with the intuitive interface via control panel with LCD screen.

Wisconsin

07 wisconsinThe machine automatically enables profiling the acetate temple thickness by milling. It consists mainly of the following parts:

  • welded structure
  • milling area base in granite
  • horizontal X axis for work holders clamp movement
  • vertical Y axis for electrospindle movement
  • adjustable temple pusher unit with precision cylinders and pressure regulator
  • pneumatic work holders clamp with adjustable tools
  • equalizer device on temple clamp
  • discharge unit with slide
  • adjustable loader
  • liquid-cooled electrospindle with HSK E25 cone 40000rpm
  • spindle cooling chiller
  • CNC with possibility to add 8 axis simultaneously
  • user-friendly interface facilitated with touch-screen panel
  • access doors protected by micro

Temple core-shooting  or temple-tips puncture

Machines easy to use both in manual and automatic loading, that allow the drilling of temple-tips and the shaped temples core-shooting or blanks in a few moves.

The simplicity in the use and in the settings allows great flexibility that facilitates the use of machines also for the production of small quantities.

Possibility to integrate the machines, even those manuals, with a modular island dockable (anthropomorphic robot) in different variants depending on the specific requirements. Thanks to the minimum size, the use of the robot is allowed also in the extremely limited space conditions.

The machine automatically enables to core-shooting the temple-tips in automatic and the temples in manual.

It has a loading system of the temple-tips which guarantees correct and safe placement of the same in the heating zone.

The heating of the piece takes place via fully shielded high-frequency generator as required by regulations for operator safety.

The temple-tip is transferred from the heating zone to the core-shooting block by electric axis controlled by the PLC; that allows the operator to set directly on the touch-screen panel, the travel speed and workloads, simplifying the set up operations.

It is complete with: water cooler, hole-closer and analog management of the second pressure.

New Mexico

It 'a fully automatic machine, equipped with power supplies for temples and cores. Indifferently allows the drilling of terminals and the core-shooting of temples with or without hinge.

The core loading block consists of an anthropomorphic robot that through the pneumatic grippers picks up the core previously selected by the respective group and inserts it in the roller guide.

In the realization of this machine we have given particular attention to the change of model simplicity and speed, thus allowing the more flexible use, even for small lots.

Designed so as to allow to safely fill the double loader of temples, during automatic working process.

Tennesse robot

06 tennessee robot

It is an automatic machine, made assembling the semi-automatic version of our core-shooting machine with a robot that replaces the functions normally carried out by man.

Indifferently allows the drilling of temple-tips and the shaped temples core-shooting  or blanks, simply replacing the equipment.

Moreover, the machine is particularly suitable for the use of molds using the technique of thermoforming from sheet.

The simplicity of the mechanical adjustments combined with the characteristics of the programmable logic control movements with touch-screen panel for variation of the times and modes of operation, allow a great flexibility to the machine which makes it also suitable for the production of small quantities.

With a high-frequency generator, the workpiece is heated within seconds at the ideal temperature. The closure of the core-shooting nest is parallel to ensure a proper discharge of the workpiece and higher dimensional accuracy.

The core-shooting head has a considerable structural rigidity to avoid the danger of bending and undesirable variations on the adjustments performed and a better flattening of the piece.

The integration of a robot enables to automate and streamline all phases of loading and unloading of the machine.

The modular island dockable to the traditional core-shooting machine can be offered in different variants depending on the needs of the customer and therefore is the ideal solution in order to produce automatically, if necessary, even on a manual machine.

In other words can replace for example on particular production batches operator presence.

Thanks to the minimum size, the use of the robot is allowed also in the extremely limited space conditions.

Particulars milling / logos

Processing that is performed by means of tools mounted on machines.

Milling requires the rotation of the tool and the workpiece translation: the cutting edges of the milling, turning, remove the material from the workpiece by allowing the creation of writings, logos or simple drawings.

Michigan

Automatic machine with manual loading.

Allows the processing of temples of different sizes, changing the workpiece table simply changing the template and / or rotating the sleds.

After loading manually the temples it is possible acting on the pushbutton on the control panel with LCD screen, to start the automatic procedure to mill the temple.
