Milling

Taking advantage of this technology TVM achieves machines capable of milling different kinds of materials.

A particularly widespread application takes place in the eyewear sector. For milling the optical frames TVM creates machines up to five interpolating axes, while for the thickness of temples and blanks are used two axes. Such processing are carried out by numerical controls devices.

In the wood industry however, TVM realizes milling islands with anthropomorphic robots with six axes with the addition of a seventh’s. The robot is fitted with a spindle on the wrist and through an ISO code conversion software it is possible to create the tool path in the movement of the robot language: in this way it is possible create processes with seven axes.
